An invaluable storehouse of information and advice... Acknowledged as the world's foremost information and advice centre in the field of Islamic banking and insurance, the Institute attracts on an average 400 requests for information and advice per month. Broadly speaking, the requests seek information on various aspects of Islamic banking and finance, Shariah's stand on different topics in the field, and assistance and advice for students writing thesis, dissertations and essays on aspects of Islamic banking and finance as part of their doctoral, graduate and undergraduate studies. Inevitably some of the same questions get ask repeatedly, so in an attempt to avoid duplicating our responses, the Institute has introduced a new service - Mail Box. This service not only makes the process more efficient, but also encourages discussion, debate and an exchange of ideas and experiences. In time we hope the Mail Box will become an invaluable storehouse of information and advice readily available to anyone that needs it.
