Individual Membership of the Institute is open
to anyone interested in the Islamic economic principles
and working in Islamic banking and Islamic insurance.
Grades of Membership
| Member (IIBIM) |
This grade of membership is open to all. Individuals do not need to have any qualifications or experience to become a member. Students enrolled onto any IIBI course qualify for free membership for one year.

| Associate Fellow (AFIIBI) |
Any person who has completed the IIBI Post Graduate Diploma is automatically admitted as an Associate Fellow and awarded a certificate of membership. To continue to enjoy the membership benefits at IIBI the Associate Fellows must renew their membership and pay the fee.

Fellow (FIIBI)
|
Membership in the Fellow grade is available to everyone holding the IIBI Post Graduate Diploma and has held the Member grade continuously for over 6 years and holding a senior position for at least 3 years within the Islamic financial services industry.
Alternatively, those holding the IIBI Post Graduate Diploma together with 12 years or more experience with in a senior position, preferably in the financial services sector of which at least 6 years should be in Islamic finance.

| Honorary Fellow (HFIIBI) |
Any person who has, in the Institute's view, made an outstanding contribution to the cause and advancement of Islamic banking or Islamic insurance and whose services have been so recognised by the industry may be offered the member grade as an Honorary Fellow. A Honorary Fellow is entitled to a lifetime membership without being subject to payment of any membership fee.
Qualifying persons will receive a Honoraray Fellow card and a certificate to display.
Members and Islamic finance professionals as well as non-members may also propose names for selection as Honorary Fellow by writing to the Director General at the Institute and providing a record of the person's professional career and contributions and contact details.
The decision of the Institute is final on offering the member grade to any person as an Honorary Fellow.

All membership is renewal on 1st January of each year
The current annual membership fee for all grades is £25.00 per year.

Full Annual Fee of £25.00 is payable. |

Payment for joining between 1st July to 31st December |
Half Annual Fee of £15.00 is payable
