considers conferences and seminars as an important means for the
promotion of Islamic finance. Since organising its first one-day international seminar in London, May 1994, on 'The Development of an Accounting System for Islamic Banking' in co-operation with Dar Al Maal Al Islami and Price Waterhouse, it has participated in scores of conferences in different parts of the world. It is a tribute to the high standing and prestige of the Institute that major international organisations planning to hold conferences on Islamic finance approach the Institute either to:
