to spend (in charity); say: "What is beyond your needs."
Truly speaking, it is in GIVING that one discovers one's self and the relationship with the Creator. We were all born out of the instinct of GIVING and we all possess a strong inescapable instinct to GIVE. We can all give back something to the world we live in.
Many of the Institute's students from the developing countries have benefited from reduction in course fees. With the support of contributions from individuals, corporations and other bodies many more students will be able to benefit from reduction in fees. All the money contributed will help to make a fundamental difference to the lives of these individuals and their families and communities.
Contributions may be made by way of a simple donation or as zakat payment which is an obligatory contribution which every well-off Muslim is required to pay as a determined portion taken from surplus wealth and allocated to those deserving it including the poor and needy.
By making donations and zakat payments you will be assisting the Institute to advance the dignity of such vulnerable individuals seeking employment opportunities and furthering their career prospects for a better life.
'For those who give in charity ... it shall be increased manifold (to their credit) and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward.' (The Qur'an 57:18)
How your contributions will be used
Your contributions will be used by the Institute to offer reduction in course fees to allow deserving individuals to take up IIBI professional development courses. In certain cases, your contributions may be used to also subsidise fees for attending IIBI training programmes.
Your contribution, no matter how small, will have an immense impact on lives and contribute to building the growth of a fair and more equitable society.
